Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,513 per week in Greensboro, NC

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; RCIS/RCES preferred, but not required Must-Have: Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Candidates must be aware of client policies regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates must complete compliance on time. First-time travelers are welcome. Description: This position requires a Cath Lab Tech to perform various invasive procedures in a Cath Lab setting. Candidates will be involved in procedures such as balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, and thrombectomy. Experience with left and right heart catheterization, rotablator, and EP lab procedures is preferred. The candidate will also assist with EKGs and perform hemodynamic monitoring. Daily procedures may range from 25 to 35 cases. The patient population will consist of adults and geriatrics. Candidates should be proficient in the use of EPIC and other related charting systems. Knowledge of cardiac interventions and adjunct therapies is essential. Understanding of coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmias, and abnormal electrical function of the heart is necessary. Travelers may be floated as needed to other facilities. Flexibility during scheduling, particularly during COVID surges, is required.
