Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required. License: Required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI - RCIS required. Must-Have: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience required. Procedures range from diagnostic cath procedures to structural heart, cardiogenic shock, and ECMO. All cardiac cath and vascular EMR experience required. Description: The candidate will work in a cath lab setting. They will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, and catheterizations. The candidate must have experience with hemodynamic monitoring and maintaining sterile fields. They should be skilled in equipment setup and preparation of access sites. The role may require monitoring of cardiac rhythms and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. Experience with Philips monitoring equipment is preferred. The candidate will participate in interdisciplinary support for patients with cardiac and vascular diseases. They will ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Flexibility with scheduling is essential. The candidate must be prepared to complete compliance requirements on time. They will undergo EKG testing as part of the compliance process.
