Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: 1 year minimum experience License: Valid license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT or CCI (RCIS) Must-Have: - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab experience - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience - Cardiac Implant Closure Device experience - Cardiac Stent Placement experience - Diagnostic Catheterizations experience - IABP Placement/Removal experience - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Left heart catheterization - Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) experience - Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) experience - Right heart catheterization - Rotablader athrectomy experience - Scrub Procedures experience - Equipment set up experience - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Room circulator experience - Scrub to maintain sterile field - Isolation Precautions/PPE knowledge - Sterile Technique knowledge Description: Seeking a Cath Lab Tech for 4x10 hour shifts. Weekend, overnight, and holiday call is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. A minimum of 1 year experience is required. Familiarity with Pyxis and Epic is preferred. Scrubs will be provided in royal blue. Candidates should be comfortable with various procedures in the Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional tasks. Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a sterile field and understanding isolation precautions. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit. Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs.
