Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab environment required. License: TN/compact licensure must be in hand at time of submission. Certifications: BLS; ACLS; CCI RCIS; ARRT(R)(VI) or ARRT(R)(CI). Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Charting system experience preferred. Travel experience required. Description: This role involves performing interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment setup, and maintaining inventory. Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations in adults required. Knowledge in angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology lab procedures preferred. Must be able to perform various procedures such as pacemaker insertion and thoracentesis. On-call responsibilities include one night per week and one weekend per month. Float requirements may be applicable based on staffing needs. Travelers are not accommodated for time off during major holidays. Previous permanent staff cannot return to the same campus within 24 months. Candidates must ensure compliance with certifications and licensure documentation. Travel teams related or married cannot work on the same unit. Floating is in accordance with floating policies and clinical experiences.
