  • Weekly Pay: $2570 to $2770
Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Prepare the Cath Lab by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for procedures
  • Operate fluoroscopy and specialized imaging equipment during cardiovascular procedures
  • Scrub and circulate during cardiac, vascular, and peripheral interventional cases
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures
  • Prepare and administer contrast media according to physician orders and facility protocols
  • Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention and radiation safety guidelines
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, recovery, and post-procedure care
  • Document procedure details accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Perform routine equipment quality checks and report maintenance issues
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, registered nurses, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
  • Current ARRT (R) Certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential preferred
  • Active Georgia license if required by state regulations
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • ACLS Certification required
  • Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
