Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,583 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: 2+ years License: South Carolina License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process) Must-Have: - Cath Lab Experience - Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work day shifts, typically 4x10 hours. The shift hours may vary as the team stays until all procedures are complete. The daily caseload per tech involves running 4 to 5 labs with 2-3 CVT per lab. The overall case load averages around 20-25 cases per day. On-call requirements include one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) every 7 weeks and an evening shift once a week. Holiday work may be required as needed. Travelers will not float between service lines and will not be required to float to sister facilities. Experience in a Cath Lab is a prerequisite. Candidates must possess proficiency in coronary diagnostic and intervention tasks. The necessary certifications include BLS and ACLS. Travelers are expected to provide their own radiation badge. Local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Emergency response assignments may occur during hurricane season, which spans from June to November.
