Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join our team as a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise—while enjoying the experience of a new location. Assist physicians and other cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced medical equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.


What You'll Need:

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) via CCI required. ARRT CI (Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist) accepted as equivalent when specified by client.
  • BLS (AHA) required. ACLS required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital cath lab setting. Cath lab experience is required. IR experience preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC charting system required.
  • Experience with MacLab and Siemens imaging systems preferred.
  • State-specific licensure when required. If not ARRT(R), candidate must obtain Colorado fluoroscopy certification as required by the client.
  • Orientation availability: clinicians must be in-state for week of orientation.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital
  • Shift Name: Days
  • Shift Details: Days 0700-1600 (4 x 9 schedule)
  • Call Requirements: Some weeknight call (approximately 10 per month); weekend call (Friday–Sunday) about every third weekend; holiday call required and shared among staff
  • Case Mix: Combined Cath and IR lab with approximately 2 suites/labs and about 4 cases per day (combo of cath and IR)
  • Typical patient types: STEMI, NSTEMI, pacemakers, and interventional radiology patients
  • On-call response time: 30 minutes
  • Orientation Hours: 12
  • Floating Requirements: Not required to float to other facilities
  • Scrub/Dress: Scrubs provided
