Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 18 months of experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred. License: National certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist preferred. Certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS required. RCIS preferred in addition to required certifications. Must-Have: Candidates should have experience as a scrub technologist specializing in the Cath Lab. Travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required. Description: We are seeking a team player with cardiac cath experience. This position involves working in a cardiac cath lab as a technician. The selected candidate will be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager. Call is required for this position. Candidates must prioritize time-sensitive modules once confirmed for the assignment. All requested time off must be specified upfront during submission, as later requests may not be approved. Two references from direct supervisors or managers are required. Candidates should be prepared for EKG and pharmacology testing during the onboarding process. Study materials will be provided, and modules must be completed pre-start and annually. This role includes strict compliance with facility policies. Candidates should possess skills in various catheterization procedures, equipment setup, and maintaining a sterile field. Travelers will be expected to scrub and circulate during procedures and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Floating may be required to multiple facilities within a certain distance. This facility follows a strict smoke-free policy.
