Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, SCRQSAS Must-Have: - Experience with ASD Closures - Experience with Cardiac Implant Closure Device - Experience with Cardiac Stent Placement - Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab - Experience in Hemodynamic monitoring - Experience with IABP Placement/Removal - Experience with Impella insertion - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - Experience with Left heart catheterization - Experience with Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Description: This is a 4 ten-hour shift position. Start time is between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM. End times are between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. This position will require on-call duties. One call shift per week is expected. One call weekend in a 5-week period is required. One late stay shift per week is part of the schedule. Routine cases are conducted on Sundays. Responsibilities include monitoring and scrubbing all cath lab cases. You will work with various interdisciplinary support teams. Daily census is approximately 42 patients. The number of procedures performed daily is around 25. There are four procedure rooms available. Equipment utilized includes IVUS, OCT, IMPELLA, IABP, Rotablotor, and Shockwavepneumbra. This position may require floating to other units based on census needs. A commitment to follow infection control and safety protocols is essential. Applicants should have experience with patient ratios and charting systems. The ability to maintain a sterile field is necessary.
