Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 1+ years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience and current ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R certifications for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab work setting
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30/6:00 PM, including routine Sunday cases as part of the scheduled shifts
• Requires call coverage: 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend per 5-week period
• 1 late stay shift required per week
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within qualified competencies

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• ARRT-R and SCRQSA certifications required
• License required if applicable
• 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
• Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, Impella, IABP, and pacemaker insertion
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and monitor hemodynamics
• Skilled in maintaining a sterile field and scrub procedures
• Comfortable working with adult and pediatric/neonatal patient populations

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including ASD closures, stent placements, and valve replacements
• Follow isolation precautions and appropriate PPE protocols
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any Prisma facility to be eligible, with limited exceptions allowing 50+ miles from the relevant flagship hospital at reduced bill rate
