Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first timers not accepted License: State Licensed if applicable Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS Must-Have: Trauma Level II experience required General skills in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Lab Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems Description: The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab. Candidates should be adept at working with adult and geriatric patient populations. Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS certifications. General skills required include diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac cath lab. Experience in Trauma Level II settings is essential. Candidates will need to work some weekends, with every other weekend expected unless specified otherwise. Call requirements will include rotating weekends and potential holiday coverage. Clinical screening will be performed to ensure fit within guidelines. Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may lead to a two-week delay. Additional experience and skills in various procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and hemodynamic monitoring are preferred. All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission, with a maximum of seven days allowed per contract. No holiday RTO can be requested if one or two major holidays fall during the assignment. One holiday RTO may be considered if three major holidays are scheduled.
