Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,685 per week in Charleston, WV

Job Title: OR Tech in Cath Lab Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab License: Active state license required; pending license accepted for submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS; must be through the American Heart Association Must-Have: Experience working as an OR Tech in a Cath Lab setting Familiarity with various cardiac procedures Ability to scrub and assist the Cath Lab team Description: Support the Cath Lab team by scrubbing in during procedures. Cases will include collaboration with Cath Lab RN and Cath Lab Tech. The workload will increase as the facility expands from four procedure rooms to five. Experience is required as this is a busy environment. Patient demographics will focus on adult cardiology and structural cardiology. No floating to other facilities is required. Candidates must have experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field and assisting with various cardiac interventions. Strong skills in recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and cardiac device placements are necessary. Charting will be done using Cerner. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-paced environment.
