Cath Lab Technologist, Cath Lab Experience: 2 years Certifications: RCIS-Cardiovascular Credentialing International Holidays: Rotating Holidays Weekends: Rotating On Call: Call is 15 days a month References: 1 Reference in entire work history LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) required within 6 months of hire. CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire. PALS and ACLS certification required and/or must be obtained and maintained within 12 months of hire. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Completion of an accredited Cardiac Technology program, Associate, or Baccalaureate program in health science required. 1-3 years related work experience preferred. Pediatric experience preferred. Knowledge and skill in invasive procedures protocols, equipment and instrumentation specific to cardiac invasive procedures preferred. Interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication with physicians, nursing personnel, clinicians, other support staff, patients, and families. Demonstrates the skill set to work independently. Ability to accommodate after hour call coverage.
