Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30 AM - 06:00 AM Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: RCIS or RT required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Scrub, circulate, and monitor invasive diagnostic cardiac procedures. Description: Perform left and right heart catheters. Conduct PCI and IABP insertions. Execute temp pacemaker and pericardiocentesis procedures. Assist in CRM device implants and EP studies. Administer ablations including SVT, AFlutter, AVNRT, and PVC. Two labs are available for procedures. Cath procedures are performed daily from Monday to Friday. EP procedures are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and half days on Fridays. Typical staffing for technicians is four, with increased staffing on EP days. Participate in a call team with a rotation for weekdays and every fourth or fifth weekend on call.
