Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT or CCI RCIS required Must-Have: - Ability to access/manage ports - Accurate monitoring skills - Experience in angiology and interventional procedures Description: Split lab will rotate between cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology. Weekend work is included in the call schedule. Expect 9-10 call shifts over a 6-week schedule, which includes weekends. Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed. Minimum experience of 1 year; first-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must comply with specific facility requirements. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day. Complete compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may lead to a two-week delay. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All required documentation must be finalized before submission, with no requests for changes post-offer. Travelers must have experience with a variety of procedures, including but not limited to catheterization, stenting, and monitoring. Must maintain a sterile field and adhere to isolation precautions. Daily census typically involves adult and geriatric patient populations. Patient diagnosis types will include a range of cardiac and vascular conditions.
