Description: Cardiac Cath Tech ? About Facility: Community based hospital in urban area, High Point, NC 601 N. Elm Street, High Point, NC 27262 351 licensed beds No Trauma Designation Teaching Hospital Chest Pain Center Stroke Center ? Department Information: Census? Average patients/day? 5-15 cases per day Minimum Years of Experience required? ? RN: 2 years with critical care/Cath lab experience ? Cardiac Cath Tech: 2 years of experience Will you accept a first-time traveler? No ? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Impella, IVUS, OCT, IABP, RFR ? Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: RN: BLS, ACLS Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ACLS; ARRT-R or equivalent OR RCIS is required ? Skills required: RN: Dysrhythmias and moderate sedation. Perivascular cases. High acuity cases for STEMI (preferred) Also knowledge of vascular cases Cardiac Cath Tech: scrub and document skills; also knowledge of vascular cases ? Support within the Department: 3 person call team. RN/RT/RCIS any combination ? Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC Department specific Equipment: Hemosystem Hemodynamic Monitoring (Change Healthcare) ? Floating: If yes, where? None ? Orientation (facility and unit): NEO - 1 week 2 days departmental ? Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Rotate call on weekends (every 5th weekend) ? What are the weekend Call hours? 7am-7am Call required: Traveler will work 4-10h Days per week with rotating on call shifts ? Monday Friday 1730-0700 ? Saturday and Sunday- 7a-7a ?
