Cardiovascular Technologists are allied health professionals who performs diagnostic examinations at the request or direction of an Interventional Cardiologist during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and/or peripheral vascular study procedures. Through subjective data collection and recording, the technologist obtains information from which a correct anatomical and physiological diagnosis may be established for each patient. Effective 1/11/2024, local (please refer to list of ineligible counties) candidates are no longer being accepted by AMC.Call commitment is 1 week night and 1 weekend a monthMinimum of an Associate Degree or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or graduate from an accredited Allied Health Program.Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.At least 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty.Must obtain and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Adult Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
