Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,794 per week in Dubuque, IA

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current Cardiac Cath experience License: Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed applicants will be accepted but must apply for a license upon offer acceptance Certifications: ARRT or CCI - RCIS, AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS, AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency with fluoroscopy - Proficiency and comfort in peripheral and coronary angiography cases - Proficiency and comfort in PCI and pacemaker procedures - 24 months of experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab required - Equipment experience: Impella highly preferred; additional experience with Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS preferred Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on their driver's license. All contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays, unless the unit is closed. Standard working hours will be four 9-hour shifts per week, starting at 0645. No call requirements for this position. Equipment used in the unit includes Artis Zee c-arm, Impella, IABP, and Acist Injector. Types of procedures include peripheral/coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures. Client-provided scrubs will be light blue in color. Candidates must have completed at least one travel contract in the previous 12 months. Work history and resume must reflect 24 months of current Cardiac Cath experience. Skills checklist must be specific to Cardiac Cath. Professional references are preferred from charge/supervisor/nurse manager or similar positions, within the last 24 months. Active Iowa Radiology license is highly preferred at the time of submission; applicants can apply for the license upon acceptance.
