Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,806 per week in Snellville, GA

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV Must-Have: 1st Timers not accepted. Patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, CSIR required. EKG settings and rhythm interpretation experience required. Pacemaker experience preferred. Description: Candidates will be required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience. The position involves diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, and device implants. There will be no EP studies or ablations performed. Candidates need to be skilled in obtaining vitals and interpreting sinus node rhythms. The average daily census is 8-10 patients with a ratio of 3 rooms and 5 beds. Scrub color will be provided by the facility. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Floating may occur within the department and facility, and there is a possibility to float to a nearby campus. On-call requirements involve 10 call days per month. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, both must be worked. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, two of the holidays must be worked. Compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, onboarding may be delayed. Candidates will undergo clinical screening to determine fitness for the role. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission.
