Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,815 per week in Springfield, IL

Must-Have: - Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab. - Skills in Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, and diagnostic catheterizations in adults. - Experience in IABP placement/removal and interpretation of dysrhythmias. - Proficiency in left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), right heart catheterization, and rotablator atherectomy. - Knowledge of equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias. - Competence in isolation precautions and sterile technique. - Experience with middle and older adult age groups. - Proficiency in Cerner charting system required. Description: This is a 26-week position for a Cath Lab Technician. The shift is three 12-hour days from 06:30 to 19:00. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. The clinician will be required to work 2-3 weekends during the contract. On-call duties are part of the role, with a flexible call frequency based on the facility's census. BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and RCIS certifications are mandatory. Experience should include the ability to perform various cardiac procedures and recognize critical conditions. Additional responsibilities include maintaining sterile fields and adhering to infection control protocols. Candidates must demonstrate competency with all required skills and knowledge relevant to patient age groups and charting systems.
