Unit Information:
Beds: 4 cardiac rooms and 3 vascular rooms
Minimum Years of Experience required: at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Cardiac cases: NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip
Vascular cases: Mostly lower extremity angiograms and EVAR and TEVAR cases
Required License, National Certification, Certs:
Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or RCIS
Skills required:
Cardiac Cath Tech:
Required: Cath Lab experience; MUST have peripheral angiogram/run-off experience. Prefer experience with endografts, EVARs, TEVARS, etc. If no experience with those, MUST be willing to be taught here. Please send for manager approval if missing this experience
Preferred: highly prefer experience in IR or in a lab working with vascular surgeons

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: discussed during interview
On call:
Vascular: two weekends every month and two weekdays of call.
Response time 1 hour
Cardiac: one call night every week and every 5th weekend
Response time 30 minutes
Cover both in interview; manager will go further into call and which one they ll cover in 2nd interview
Holiday Expectations: Travelers will do at least one holiday in a contract if applicable
RTO: Manager approval
Shift times: 0730-1800 (4 (10) hour shifts)
Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
Travelers cover each other s RTO, so could be extra call in events of RTO
