Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,827 per week in Snellville, GA

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Georgia or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV Must-Have: 1. Experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, CSIRatio. 2. EKG settings and experience. 3. Ability to obtain vitals and interpret rhythms, including sinus node rhythms. 4. Experience with pacemakers preferred. Description: Minimum experience required is 2 years; first-time travelers will not be accepted. Patient populations include adults to geriatrics. Daily responsibilities involve diagnostic cardiac catheterization, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants. No electrophysiology studies or ablations will be performed in this unit. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in accurate monitoring and various cardiac procedures. Required tasks include obtaining vitals, maintaining sterile fields, and performing EKG lead placements. The department works with an average daily census of 8-10 patients across 3 rooms. Floating within the department and facility may occur, with the possibility of floating to a sister campus. Call requirements involve 12-15 days per month including weekends. Travelers are expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary for starting on time. Candidates will be clinically screened to determine fit before final decisions are made. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
