Facility Overview
Join a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital with 874 licensed beds, a Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center. This facility offers a collaborative environment and strong departmental support.
Unit Overview
The Cath Lab includes 4 cardiac rooms and 3 vascular rooms, supporting a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures.
Position Details
We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Tech with at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience. First-time travelers are welcome. Candidates must live 50+ miles from the home unit per radius rule.
Case Mix
Cardiac cases: NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip
Vascular cases: Lower extremity angiograms, EVAR, TEVAR
Required Qualifications
BLS
ACLS
ARRT-R or RCIS
Cath Lab experience
Must have peripheral angiogram/run-off experience
Experience with endografts, EVARs, and TEVARs preferred
If lacking endograft/EVAR/TEVAR experience, candidate must be open to training
Preferred Experience
IR experience
Experience working in a lab with vascular surgeons
Department Support
The department is well supported with:
Traffic flow coordinator handling add-on scheduling and staffing
Charge nurse
VAD team
RT for emergencies
ECMO team
Code team
Technology/Equipment
EMR: EPIC
Hemodynamic system: Merge Hemo
IV Pump: Alaris
Medication dispensing: Omnicell
Monitors: Philips
X-ray equipment: Philips, Client, and Siemens

Schedule
4 x 10-hour day shifts
Shift: 0730–1800
Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
Weekend rotation discussed during interview
Call Requirements
Call expectations will be reviewed in interview, with final assignment discussed in the second interview.
Vascular: Two weekends per month and two weekdays of call; 1-hour response time
Cardiac: One call night per week and every 5th weekend; 30-minute response time
Additional Requirements
At least one holiday per contract, if applicable
RTO requires manager approval
Travelers may need to cover each other's RTO, which could result in additional call
