The candidate must have 2-3 years of experience in a busy cardiac catheterization lab. The schedule is full-time, 4 days per week with one day off. On-call duty is required for nights, weekends, and holidays. The average on-call is 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 4-5 weeks. A 30-minute response time is expected for on-call duties. The unit performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures for adults and pediatrics. It has a large population of patients with advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant needs.
