Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Pending state license accepted; must be active by start Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS preferred Must-Have: Experience with charting in Cerner Description: Position available for a Cath Lab Tech. The shift is 4x10 days. On-call required every 4th weekend and 1-2 days a week for evening call. Daily caseload consists of approximately 12 patients. First-timers accepted. Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must reside 50 miles away from the facility. Active state license is required by the start date; pending licenses are accepted. RCIS certification is preferred but not required for travelers. Daily census includes adults and geriatrics. Patients are primarily diagnosed with conditions requiring diagnostic heart cath interventions. The environment supports a structured heart EP unit. In addition to standard duties, special skills required include accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and various catheterization techniques. Travelers must complete modules prior to starting. It is important for all travelers to maintain a professional demeanor as conduct issues may lead to immediate contract termination.
