Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Pending state license accepted; must be active by start Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS preferred Must-Have: - 1 year of Cath Lab experience - Charting system experience in Cerner Description: Position/Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Daily caseload of 12 patients. On-call requirement for every fourth weekend and 1-2 days a week for evening call. First-time travelers are accepted. Locals are not accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles away from the facility. Pending state license is accepted, but it must be active by the start date. ACLS, ARRT R, and BLS certifications are required, and RCIS is preferred. Candidates should be proficient in accurate monitoring and possess skills in various cardiac procedures including stent placements, catheterizations, and device insertions. Experience with specific procedures such as cardiac mapping, electrophysiology evaluations, and transcatheter aortic valve replacements is beneficial. The facility operates as a short-term acute care setup with a level III trauma designation. A total of 244 staffed beds are available. The unit primarily serves adult and geriatric patient populations. The daily census is approximately 12 patients. Travelers should comply with conduct expectations, as any unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs may lead to immediate contract termination.
