Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cumulative experience required License: BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer date Certifications: One or more of the following certifications required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credential Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credential Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credential Must-Have: High school diploma or equivalent, or associate's/technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience required Description: Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system. Actively monitor heart rate and rhythm during procedures. Anticipate case changes, catheter positioning, and physician needs. Maintain strict sterile fields and expert handling of specialized supplies. Instruct patients on post-procedure care and site monitoring.
