Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,892 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years minimum experience required License: Must have either a compact license or a state-specific license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT R Must-Have: Ability to function in a high-paced, efficient environment. Must be a team player. Description: CATH LAB TECH position available. Will accept various shift configurations including 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s. Local candidates within a specified radius are welcome. Certifications required are BLS, ACLS, and either CCI RCIS or ARRT R. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Candidates must have completed at least one travel assignment. Required skills include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrub, and both right and left heart catheterization. Experience with rotablader, thrombectomy, stents, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty is necessary. Preferred skills include Cerner, acute monitoring, room circulator, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR procedures. Call is required with 1 to 2 call shifts during the week and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month. Candidates must be able to manage a patient population that includes adults and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 12 to 20 patients. Special procedures include cardiac cath lab, right and left heart caths, stents, angioplasty, FFR, rotablator, PFO closures, TAVR, and structural heart procedures. Use of specific devices is preferred. Candidates must possess experience in monitoring and maintaining sterile fields, and must adhere to isolation precautions.
