Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cath Lab Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Days Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: 2 years required License: Required Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Must-Have: - Hospital setting experience in Cardiac Cath or Interventional Radiology for more than 3 years - EMR experience with EPIC/Apollo cardiac charting Description: The position involves intra-procedural circulating and the administration of supplies and medications. The role includes sedation responsibilities. The candidate must float for on-call duties across multiple campuses. Response time for on-call is expected to be within 30 minutes. The department performs a variety of procedures, with common diagnoses including compression fractures, venous access, hydronephrosis, chest pain, pulmonary hypertension, shortness of breath, gastric ulcers, pulmonary embolism, and deep vein thrombosis. The lab is versatile, primarily performing interventional radiology with cardiac inpatient add-ons and is prepared for STEMI cases. Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and floating as needed. Candidates must provide upfront time-off requests with restrictions on additional requests.
