Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Technician Assistant is to assist in preparing patients for cath lab procedures. Scrubbing procedures, monitoring and recording hemodynamic pressures. The Cath Lab Technician demonstrates professional development and clinical competency. Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to assist in preparing procedure room and patient for procedure. Addresses health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; performs other related duties.

Required: BLS, ARRT(VI), RCIS or RTRCI; 2 yrs experience
