Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,966 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1.5 - 2 years in Diagnostic Radiology preferred. License: Registered by the A.R.R.T., R.T.(R) is required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required within probationary period. Must-Have: - WV Medical Imaging License required. - Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab. Description: Cath Lab Tech will work 4x10 days or as needed in a combination of 5x8 shifts. Call required: One weekday and one weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays. Participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring hemodynamic status of patients during procedures. Perform tasks such as scrubbing during endovascular procedures. Accurately document during procedures and set up equipment. Knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac stent placement and diagnostic catheterizations is essential. Required to maintain sterile field and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Additional skills include equipment maintenance and monitoring, and stocking supplies. Must be familiar with PACS and various cardiac procedures. Maintain all job and license requirements, attend mandatory in-services, and actively participate in self-education. Perform other duties as assigned and fulfill ACC requirements. Physical requirements include frequently lifting and/or carrying objects up to 25 lbs. Maximum lifting of 50 lbs may be required.
