Procedural Scrubbing & Circulating: Scrub in and directly assist interventional cardiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary angioplasties, stenting, pacemakers, and ICD placements.
Hemodynamic Waveform Monitoring: Operate advanced physiological recording software; continuously track, record, and interpret real-time hemodynamic waveforms, intracardiac pressures, and ECG changes during the procedure.
Imaging System Operation: Position and operate single-plane or biplane fluoroscopic imaging equipment, manage automated contrast media injectors, and strictly enforce radiation safety measures (ALARA principles) within the suite.
Emergency On-Call Rotation: Actively participate in the department's evening, night, and weekend emergency on-call pool to provide rapid-response coverage for acute ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI) and emergent cases.
