Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13-26 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Must have active license to apply Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS required Must-Have: - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab experience - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience - Required procedural skills in cardiac procedures - Required infection control experience - Knowledge of middle and older adult age groups - Cerner experience required Description: The position is for a Cath Lab Tech. Candidates will work with cardiac procedures in both diagnostic and interventional settings. Weekend work is required for 2-3 weekends per contract. Call may be required on a rotating basis with staff and agency. Candidates will not float outside of their assigned role. Block scheduling may be accommodated based on discussion with management. Candidates must demonstrate competencies in equipment setup and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Proper sterile technique and isolation precautions are essential. Skills required include cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and various catheterizations. The role may involve interpreting dysrhythmias and performing interventions like PCI and PTCA. All applied candidates must have the necessary experience and certifications to qualify.
