Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 5x8 (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State license required Certifications: ARRT R or CCI RCIS required Must-Have: 1 year of experience acceptable First-time travelers accepted Varying shifts: 07:00 - 15:30, 07:30 - 16:00 (+/- late shift 1-2 per week), 08:30 - 17:00 call shift Call is 1 day per weekday Monday - Thursday Call every 4th to 5th weekend from Friday 17:00 until Monday morning 07:00 Description: Cath Lab Tech role requires experience in diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional cardiac cath lab. Skills include ASD closures and cardiac stent placement. Adult diagnostic catheterization and interpretation of dysrhythmias are essential. Experience with PACS and fluoroscopy is necessary. Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment is preferred. Responsibilities include accurate monitoring and equipment setup. Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and performing EKG lead placement is required. Must be capable of recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and assisting with various procedures. Familiarity with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) is expected. Candidates must maintain sterile technique and prepare access sites effectively. Position involves both outpatient and inpatient work settings. Experience with structural heart procedures and hybrid OR environments is advantageous. Candidates will work alongside an interdisciplinary team.
