Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: 1 year of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted License: State license required Certifications: ARRT R or CCI RCIS required Must-Have: - Experience in diagnostic cardiac cath lab - Experience in interventional cardiac cath lab - Skills in ASD closures and cardiac stent placement - Skills in adult diagnostic catheterization - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias - Proficiency with PACS and fluoroscopy - Familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac cath lab. Candidates should have a strong foundation in cardiac catheterization and interventional techniques. All techs will be required to monitor patients accurately during procedures. Participation in call is required. Call responsibilities include weekdays and weekends. Candidates must be able to stay late for shifts as needed. Scrubs will be provided. The work environment includes both outpatient and inpatient settings. Patients will primarily consist of adults and geriatrics. Daily case volume includes a variety of cardiac procedures such as PCI and structural heart interventions. Experience with special procedures, including stents and angioplasty, is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. Flexibility with scheduling and responsibilities is expected.
