Position / Specialty: Cath Lab Tech - Cath ADV CVT Start date: ASAP start Shift: Shift is 4x10 days, 7:30am-6:00pm (Wed would be 7-5:30pm). With some on-call obligation; usually up to 1 weekend per month and 1 day per week. Special Notes: Either CVT (RCIS) or RT (ARRT) is required. Techs must scrub and monitor Cath procedures, including PCIs and support devices (IABP and Impella). Guaranteed Hours: In the event of low census Healthcare Providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in 4 hour increments up to 1 shifts worth of hours in a 2 week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods. Placement of Swan Ganz caths, endomyocardial biopsies and temp pacing wires. Patients undergoing support devices (Impella, IABP, Tandem Heart and ECMO). Cath Lab procedures: Scrub coronary with stenting is required. Scrub and Monitoring of RHC, R/L Diagnostic, Impella, IABP, PCI, Femoral & Radial approaches, PA Lines, and operation of IVUS and pressure wire modalities. ACLS and BLS RCIS with a WA license or an ARRT with a WA license PREFERRED: Endomyocardial Bx Special Equipment : Transcribed 02.09.24 gm Medtronic temp pacemaker wire/box, IVUS (BSCI), Vents, OCT, Angiojet, pressure wire, ICE, Laser, Impella, CSI, SHOCKWAVE IABP, Alaris IV pump, FFR/IFR/CFR, AVOXimeter, Hemochron ACT, PA lines (Swans) Hemodynamic Monitoring is GE MacLab Procedure Log monitoring is in EPIC EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: IVUS, Rotablader, CSI, Shockwave, IABP, Impella, FFR/IFR PREFERRED: Tandem, ECMo EMR REQUIRED: GE MacLab/CardioLab #Tier1 Travel Compliance Compliance deadline is 3 business days prior to start RTO Minimal, cannot accommodate RTO during first 2 weeks Submit 3 jobs max Locals accepted, same Bill Rate Candidates float within hospital EPIC experience required Background: Disclose any hits when subbed Prior UW staff: 18 months separation required References: 2 Required at submittal.
