Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab/Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: AART and state license, OR RCIS Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring Cath Lab procedures. - Procedures to include Coronary Angiograms with PCI, Pacemakers, and Peripheral Aortograms. - Call requirement of 8-12 shifts per month and one weekend of call required per month. Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring various Cath Lab procedures. Candidates must have experience in coronary angiograms, pacemaker insertions, and peripheral aortograms. This position requires ability to maintain a sterile field and accurately monitor patients during procedures. Skills in angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and hemodynamic monitoring are essential. Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and perform EKG lead placement is required. Candidates must have documentation for required certifications and licenses. Experience with specific charting systems is preferred. Candidates must be prepared for a background check and a seven-year work history verification. Flexibility in scheduling for call shifts is mandatory. Local candidates may be considered but will have a different billing rate.
