Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Must have experience in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Rota. License: Techs must have either RCIS or ARRT. If ARRT, traveler must have state license as well. Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Rota Description: Profession: Cath Lab Tech. Candidates must have either RCIS or ARRT. If the candidate has ARRT, they must also possess a state license. Experience requirements include LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, and Rota. The department consists of 4 labs, running Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5:30 pm. An array of procedures is performed, including coronary angios/PCIs, CTOs, Peripherals, EPS with possible ablations, Pacemakers, BIVs, TAVRs, Mitraclips, Watchman/Amulet, and Mitral valves. The daily caseload is approximately 25-30 cases. Scrubs are provided. General skills required include scrub, monitor, and EKG cardiac cath lab procedure experience. Specific procedure experience needed includes Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, and Rotablader. EKG settings and experience required include obtaining vitals, outpatient, 12 Leads EKG, and rhythm interpretation. Electrophysiology procedure experience required includes cardioversion. Additional preferences include circulating, IV start, phlebotomy, Watchman procedures, septal closure, ablations, and pacemaker/defibrillator placement. Vaccine information: The flu vaccine is required during flu season. If requesting a religious or medical flu exemption, it is the agency's responsibility to ensure compliance with guidelines. The COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical and religious exemptions allowed. Travelers are only permitted to submit to one job ID at a time. If previously a staff member, they must wait one year before returning.
