Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while enjoying the opportunity to work in a new location. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture critical cardiac and vascular data.
What You'll Need:
- At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience required. Client specifically requires 1+ year of Cath Lab experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- ARRT or RCIS certification required. RCIS is acceptable in lieu of ARRT where applicable.
- Experience with vascular lab procedures and interventional cases preferred. This is preferred, not required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record required.
- Experience with lab imaging and equipment such as Philips monitors, Merge Hemo, and Siemens x‑ray systems preferred.
- Ability to work 10‑hour clinical shifts and participate in departmental call and weekend rotations as needed.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory / Vascular Lab / EP.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 0700-1700 (4x10 schedule, 40 hours per week).
- Schedule cycle: Every 4 weeks.
- Call expectations: Vascular call and STEMI response. Call back time: 1 hour for Vascular, 30 minutes for STEMI.
- Weekend rotation: Dependent on departmental needs; to be discussed during interview.
- Orientation: New employee orientation plus 2 days department-specific EPIC training and 1 day unit training.
- Floating: No floating to other facilities required.

- Hospital details: Approximately 457 licensed beds. Trauma Level III. Teaching hospital with Chest Pain/STEMI center and Stroke Center of Excellence.
- Unit composition: 12 prep/recovery beds, 2 cath lab rooms, 1 vascular lab, 1 EP lab.
- Patient types: Cardiac cases including STEMI, Afib ablations, device placement, as well as heavy vascular caseloads including peripheral angiography, EVAR, TAVR, and complex PCI.
- Technology: EPIC EMR required. IV pumps (Alaris), medication dispensing (Omnicell), Philips monitoring systems, Merge Hemo, Siemens imaging.
- Parking: Free. Scrubs provided. Unit culture described as friendly and welcoming.
- Holiday staffing: Travelers expected to work approximately 75% of holidays.
