Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, and capture essential hemodynamic data for cardiac and vascular patients.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- State specific licensing when required.
Minimum Requirements / Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
- Required: Cath Lab experience with peripheral angiogram/run-off experience.
- Required: Willingness to learn endografts, EVARs, and TEVARs if not already experienced; manager approval required if lacking endograft experience.
- Required skills: experience in cardiac and vascular cases, including NON‑STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, lower extremity angiograms, EVAR and TEVAR procedures.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT‑R or RCIS.
- Preferred: Experience in interventional radiology or working in a lab alongside vascular surgeons.
- Preferred: Prior experience with vascular endografts and complex peripheral procedures.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital, cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Days 0700-1800.
- Schedule format: 4x10 shifts (0730-1800 listed in facility notes; confirmed shift details indicate Days 0700-1800).
- Patient types: Cardiac and vascular patients across diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- On-call and weekend expectations: Vascular call includes two weekends per month and two weekdays of call (1 hour response). Cardiac call includes one night per week and every 5th weekend (30 minute response). Specific call assignment discussed during interview.
- Orientation: Departmental orientation and unit orientation provided (includes ACE modules and EPIC training).
