Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of two years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience License: RCIS or RAD required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: Candidate must live more than 50 miles away. Ability to scrub/pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies required. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Effective interpersonal skills are required. Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities is required. Ability to maintain confidentiality is required. Description: The Cath Lab Technician works in a multidisciplinary environment. The technician supports patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures. They perform scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment. The technician applies prescribed procedures for operating radiology imaging equipment. Experience in other specialties will be considered a plus. Candidates must be willing to participate in call requirements of one day a week and one weekend a month. Shift hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, five days a week, Monday through Friday. The facility performs structural heart procedures, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic coronary and peripheral interventions.
