Subcontractor : Cardiac Cath Lab | 4000 Cambridge Ave Kansas City, KS Class/Area: Cath Lab Tech Bill Rate: $120 before administrative fees Start Date: ASAP Scheduled details:10 Days; 0700-1700 x4/week Experience Required: Cath Lab experience with Interventional and diagnostic left heart caths Right heart caths w/wo biopsy Structural hearts cases: TAVR, Mitraclip; PFO; ASD repair; Watchman. Vascular cases: peripheral run-offs; EVARS; TEVARS; adult coronary experience required License/ Certification Requirements: ARRT (R), RCVT, or RCIS; BLS, ACLS Floating Requirements: None Weekend Requirements: Yes, on call One weekend every 4 weeks - However this can vary On-Call Requirements: Yes, Call is about 4-6 shifts in a 4-week period; We do have 2 call teams- Primary and Secondary. During the week, primary covers 1730-2100 and then secondary covers 2100-0700. Weekend call is Friday 1730- Sunday 1700 if Primary, and Secondary covers Friday 1730- Monday 0700. Holiday Requirements: As needed based off unit needs Unit Notes: 11 procedure rooms with 2 of those being Hybrid OR's. Of those 11, Cath Lab utilizes about 4-5 per day with the remaining labs being used by EP. One thing to note is that Cath Lab and EP Lab are separate here. Cath Lab supports 4 different service lines- Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure, Structural and Vascular. Typically have about 25-30 cases, very busy with 1 RN and typically 3 Techs Orientation: Will attend TUKHS 2-day orientation the first week of starting Monday & Tuesday Creds Due: Monday 1 week prior to Monday start | Expectations: CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance. Notes: Nicotine free facility; bi-weekly pay | 8hr non billable ori |Client is allowed the cancelation of two shifts per month at no cost to the client and no pay to the employee.
