Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,140 per week in Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Clinical Services Specialty: Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 8 or 12 hours Experience: 3 years License: WI License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R), RCIS (preferred) Must-Have: - Experience in Cath Lab and Peripheral cases. - Conscious sedation and titrating/managing drips for RN. - Scrubbing and panning for RTR. - Hybrid experience is preferred but not required. Description: This is a fast-paced, high-acuity Cath Lab position. The facility performs between 24-40 cases a day. The patient population consists of adults; pediatrics are not included. Case types include diagnostic and interventional procedures such as RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, Cardiomems, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, Impella, and ECMO. Peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases will be part of the duties. Some experience with hybrid procedures such as AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, and TAVRs is preferred. Patient ratios are 1:1. Permanent staff will monitor cases. Housekeeping will manage room turnovers. Supply room will be under the management of storeroom staff. Transportation during the day will be provided. Receptionist and charge nurse support are available. Critical Response Team will be on-site for emergencies. The charting system includes EPIC and Alaris. C-arms and other specialized equipment will be utilized. Scheduling rotates between day and mids with occasional weekend shifts. Call rotation is required every 2-3 months, with a 30-minute response time. Holiday work is generally not expected. Travelers are subject to fatigue policy, limiting hours worked per week. Scrub color will be provided.
