This Cardiac Catheterization Lab position is based in Fall River, Massachusetts, a historic coastal city located on Mount Hope Bay. Fall River offers a blend of waterfront living, rich New England history, and convenient access to some of the region’s most desirable destinations. Within a short drive you can be in Providence, Newport, Cape Cod, or Boston, making it easy to enjoy oceanfront recreation, city dining, and cultural events on your days off. The area is known for scenic parks, walking trails along the water, and a variety of local restaurants and shops that give the city a distinct character.
The facility features a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Lab designed for high-quality, efficient cardiovascular care. The cath lab team works in a collaborative environment where nurses, technologists, and physicians coordinate closely to deliver safe, evidence-based care. Candidates can expect exposure to a broad mix of diagnostic and interventional cases, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals who want to deepen their skills in invasive cardiology and build a strong cardiovascular resume.
Typical responsibilities in this cath lab role include preparing patients for procedures, verifying consents and histories, and ensuring appropriate monitoring and equipment readiness. During procedures, team members assist with or perform tasks such as managing sterile fields, operating imaging equipment, monitoring hemodynamics, documenting in real time, and supporting the interventional cardiologist with wires, catheters, and contrast injections. Post-procedure duties may include patient recovery, monitoring for complications, and coordinating safe handoffs to inpatient or outpatient areas.
