Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,148 per week in Santa Monica, CA

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in Cath Lab License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (will take RCIS), Fluoro Permit Must-Have: - STEMI and Stroke receiving center experience - Ability to support cardiac, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures - Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology Description: The facility operates four labs and has call requirements on weekdays and weekends. Call requirements include weekdays from 17:30 to 07:00 and weekends/holidays from 07:00 to 07:00. The role includes 10 to 14 call shifts within a 42-day schedule. The Cath Lab Tech will support various procedures including TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, and others. Candidates do not need EP/structural heart experience but should ideally have stroke or interventional radiology experience. The position involves accurate monitoring, assisting with procedures, and maintaining sterile fields. Team members are expected to float between specialties in the lab as needed. All time-off requests must be submitted upfront. Travelers may need to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays throughout the contract. References covering one year experience may be required during the compliance process.
