Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required in Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience. License: Active Oregon State license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting is required. Certifications: ACLS ARRT-R BLS Must-Have: Epic charting experience is required. Description: Ideal candidates are experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience. Schedule consists of 4x10 day shifts, Monday to Friday. One weekend of call required every four weeks. On-call requirements include one weeknight and one weekend every four weeks. A 30-minute response time is expected for on-call duties. Mandatory cancellation terms apply with a notice of 1.5 hours before the start of a shift. Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty. Travelers are expected to float within the unit and across the system as necessary. Required skills include cardiac stent placement, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and percutaneous coronary interventions. No felony convictions will be accepted in background checks. All compliance documents must be completed and submitted prior to the start date. Candidates should be prepared to complete assigned education within one week of the assignment. A professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager is required with submission.
