Job Title: Cath Lab Rad Tech Profession: Catheterization Laboratory Technician Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: DAYS Hours per Shift: 8 hours (6:30 am - 3:00 pm) Experience: Minimum 10 days/month of call coverage required License: Current certifications by the California Department of Health Services (CRT) Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association) Registered by ARRT in interventional angiography and/or cardiac intervention is preferred RCIS is optional Description: Responsible for performing cardiac catheterization procedures. Must be available for call coverage as needed. Adhere to safety and procedural protocols within the Cath Lab. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures performed. Ensure equipment is functioning properly before and after procedures. Support the education and training of staff and students in the Cath Lab. Stay updated on advancements in cardiac technology and practices.
