Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Level 1 experience preferred; minimum of 2 years required in specialty License: Rad Tech License in KY through ARRT, pending license accepted at submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (PALS must be obtained before start date) Must-Have: - EKG onboarding exam required - Epic EHR experience required - McKesson experience required Description: The candidate must have a valid Rad Tech License in Kentucky through ARRT before starting. Pending licenses are acceptable at the time of submission. Level 1 experience is preferred for this position. Candidates must possess BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications. PALS certification is not needed at the time of submission but must be obtained prior to the start date. An EKG onboarding exam is required. Shifts will consist of four 10-hour shifts per week from 07:00 to 17:30. Call requirements include one late call per week and one call shift weekly. Candidates must be available for one to two call weekends in a six-week schedule. Preferred experience includes Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography. The candidate must have experience with charting in Epic EHR and McKesson. Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted. Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Previous charge experience and trauma level I experience are preferred.
