Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,166 per week in Toledo, OH

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a STEMI/PCI facility License: OH License Required, MI License in hand is mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Must-Have: Must have ARRT in hand at time of submittal Must be STEMI ready to apply IABP and Impella training Description: Must be available for one weekly day call and every fifth weekend call. Average daily census is between 25-30 patients. There are a total of 7 rooms available in the unit. Patient age group includes adults and geriatrics. EP experience is preferred as you may be floated to EP if Cath Lab/IR cases are low. Call is required, including two weekends during the 13-week contract from Friday 6 PM to Monday 7 AM. One night each week on call is expected. There is a requirement for on-call during holidays like summer or winter, with one holiday of call necessary. Experience with EMR, specifically Epic, is required. The work setting includes both outpatient and inpatient care. General skills include IV starts and EKGs. You will perform various interventional procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Previous charge experience is not required. Floating to other units or facilities may be necessary. A minimum of 1 year of acute experience is required. References from within the last 24 months are mandatory. Local candidates residing within 50 miles will not be accepted. There is a possibility for travel pairs to be submitted, provided that candidates are not related.
