Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Technician Specialty: Cath Lab Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Licensure with the Ohio Department of Health Certifications: Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must-Have: - Knowledge of Angioplasty - Knowledge of Percutaneous Intervention - Knowledge of Impella and IntraAortic Balloon Pump (IABP) - Knowledge of Atherectomy Devices/Technique (Rotablader) - Knowledge of Temporary Venous Pacemaker and Swan Ganz Placement - Scrubbing Technique for procedures encouraged Description: This position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts. The individual will be on call every 3rd weekend, from Friday at 5:30 PM to Monday at 7:00 AM. Other weekday call needs may vary. The out-of-hospital response time is 30 minutes from activation. Experience with department equipment such as Philips and Siemens Fluoroscopy Systems is preferred, but not required. The department is equipped with 3 Cardiac Suites for cardiac procedures only and 1 hybrid room for vascular surgery. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
